Ingredients
Coriander seeds- 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds- 2 tsp
Red chilies- 15 nos
Fenugreek seeds- 1.5 tsp
Black pepper- 1 tsp
Chana Dhal- 2 tsp
Urad dhal- 1 tsp
Curry leaves- 1/4 cup
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Methods
Heat the pan on a low flame, add red chilies stir it and remove aside in a vessel
Then add Coriander, Cumin, Black pepper, fenugreek, mustard seeds, Chana Dhal, Urad dhal stir them well and remove aside.
Add a little coconut oil with curry leaves roast it well.
Add Asafoetida and turmeric power in that.
Keep them cool down at the room temperature
Grind it well and will get an aromatic home made sambar powder
