Nonbu kanji using vegetables

Ingredients

Raw rice - 2 cup

Vegetables ( Green peas, beans, carrot, shallots)- 1 cup

Green chilies- 3

Coriander leaves

Thick coconut milk= 1 cup

Salt

Methods for preparation

  1. Wash the raw rice and vegetables and mix it into pressure pan.

  2. Add green chilies, coriander leaves, salt and 3 cup of water, mix it well.

  3. Cover the pan, let it cook for 8-9 whistles.

  4. Switch off the flame and wait for the pressure from the cooker release naturally.

  5. Open the cooker and add fresh shredded coconut and warm water, mix it well

  6. Serve hot.
