Maravalli kilangu masiyal

Ingredients
Maravalli kilangu- 1 kg
Grated coconut- 1 cup
Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chilly- 2
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
Shallots- 5
Salt
Methods for preparation
Clean and wash maravalli kilangu, peel it and cut into pieces.
Transfer those in a pan with salt and required water. let it cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the water thoroughly using steamer, mash it well and keep aside.
In a mixer jar, add grated coconut, fennel seeds, shallots and turmeric powder, grind them using required water, till it become a fine paste.
Heat a pan with 5-6 tsp of coconut oil, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and wait till it splutters.
Add curry leaves, green chilies, fine paste grated coconut mixture and mashed maravalli.
Mix it well ans saute till the raw smell removes.
Garnish with curry leaves and switch off the flame.
Serve hot to taste.
