Ingredients

Rice flour- 1 cup

Corn flour- 1 tsp

Grated coconut- 3/4 cup

Green chilies- 2, finely chopped

Shallots- 7, finely chopped

Ginger- a small piece, finely minced

Curry leaves(finely chopped)

Coconut oil

Egg- 2

Salt

Methods for preparation

  1. Take a large bowl, add rice flour, corn flour, grated coconut, green chilies, shallots, ginger, curry leaves, egg and salt. Mix it well till it becomes thick batter form. it is neither too thick nor watery. Add water if required.

  2. Heat mini dutch pan/ unniyappam chati with half filled oil on each cavity. wait till it turns hot.

  3. Pour 1 tsp of batter on each cavity, once the bottom level turns brown and turn over to get other side done.

  4. Take out it till both sides turns cook uniformly.

  5. Serve hot with tea.
