Tomato and dates jam

Ingredients
Tomato- 6
Dates- 15, chopped into pieces
Ghee
Nuts
Cardamon- 2
Jaggery/ vellam- 1 big size
Methods for preparation
Grind the tomatoes into a fine paste and keep aside in a bowl.
Mashed the jaggery into pieces. Transfer those in pan and 1/4 cup of water. Boil it for 5 minutes on medium flame. no need to thicker consistency
Heat a pan with 5 to 6 tsp of ghee, add nuts and cardoman and saute it well.
Add tomato paste and jaggery mixture, saute it well till it become a thick paste.
Finally add chopped dates, saute it for 5 minutes.
Switch off the flame and keep aside for room temperature.
Tight it in a closed container.
